Our Vision
Mathura Foundation aims to provide every child in the country advanced health facilities and nutrition as & when required, through our network.
We would like to focus on providing basic needs to the schools in Rural areas which are in need of protected water, toilets as envisaged under Swatch Bharath mission. We would also like to involve ourselves in IEC (Information, Education and Communication) as directed by the RBSK program of GOI.
The seed for this foundation was sown during MD’s interaction with various NGOs and doctors. There were a lot of children who were identified for advance treatment/ Surgery but could not afford to travel to the hospitals due to lack of resources. It was this lacunae that prompted him to start the foundation.
Mathura foundation is involved with Rashtriya Bal Swastyan Karyakram (RBSK) program. This is a central government program funded by National Health Mission (NHM) and implemented by Department of Public Health of respective states. This involves screening of a child for any health issues from birth to 18 yrs of age. Mostly, these children are from the economically weak families.
From March 2020 onwards we have mobilized more than 300 children to MGM health care for Cardiac surgery, about 100+ children to Saveetha hospital for Cleft Lip Palate surgery, 2 for Congenital Deafness and 3 for Neural Tube Defect. This data is up to 31st March 2021.
This is possible by unending support from our donors. Last 14 months, Mathura foundation team worked tirelessly in Tamil Nadu to identify the serious health issues in the economically weaker children & collaborated with speciality hospitals for treatment, in supoort with Govt of Tamil Nadu.
