Mathura Foundation
Mathura Foundation came into existence on Sep 2020. An NGO incorporated for children’s welfare, at present we are involved in conducting specialized screening sessions in coordination with Department Of Public Health/ Department of Medical Services in rural areas in Tamil Nadu serving the under-privileged and marginalized sections of the society.
Our goal is to supplement medical facilities to affected children & their families in coordination with private hospitals and the Govt of Tamil Nadu.
We are involved with the Rashtriya Bal Swastya Karyakram (RBSK) program, a Government of India initiative, funded by the National Health Mission (NHM) and implemented by the Department Of Public Health of the respective states. This involves screening of a child from birth to 18 yrs of age. These children are from all walks of life, especially children living in Below Poverty Line conditions who are in dire need of medical care but cannot afford to make arrangements in private hospitals for advanced surgeries.
Mathura Foundation forms an important link between the key stakeholders, through its mobilization efforts, by taking the initiative to arrange the pickup from the door, provide accommodations, and drop back after surgery with food supplies and medicines.

Mobilisation
To and fro transport and accommodation for Children and family attendant from the village to hospitals
Food & Medicine Supplies
1 month food, medicines and health supplements supply to the family for post operative patient care.
Screening Cleft Lip
Pre-Operative Cleft Lip screening for children for deformities, and roadmap ahead.
Screening Cardio
Pre operative Cardio screening for children with abnormalities and life saving treatment ahead.
Pre Operative Support
Pre operative support which includes vital tests, monitorings, and other checkups necessary before surgeries.
Post Operative Support
Post operative care, monitoring, medications, and revisits to the hospitals, nutrition, medications are responsibility of our ngo.

Even though Tamil Nadu has excellent Public
Health system, still a lot of areas need to be covered. Further there are lot of unreached areas
with vulnerable section of the society in need
of health care and hygiene. Mobilization plays a
vital role in connecting the identified children to
the designated hospitals. It is here that Mathura
Foundation steps in.
